Shopping for Penang 17th of July - So NOT enough

I'll be heading to Penang on the 9th of August till 12th of August, we'll be staying in HARDROCK HOTEL, yehey! Since I don't have tonnes of money and all that, I had to shop at places which are not THAT expensive so that I can buy more stuff. So, I had to head to Mid Valley to do some shopping. We went F.O.S., Jusco and Cotton On :). Right, if you're asking why Jusco, I'll let you know........ later in some pictures :P teehee.

These are what I've gotten from F.O.S., teehee..

These 3 T-Shirts are 3 for RM45 (super worth it huh?) I LOVE the white 1 the most, it looks simple enough yet not too complicated. Unfortunately, I had to pick the one on the left because there's no other design better.. not to say that I hate it, it's just that I don't really like it.

Me LOVE <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 this pair of slippers. It's only RM 25 for your information. The design is unique and I can wear it to the beach ahahahah. You see, I don't really have many slippers at home to choose from... so yeah. I kinda realized that I'd totally forgotten to take a picture of the pink pants, LOL. Oh well, the pants is supposed to be RM30 but due to 50% off I got it for RM15!!! I'm just going to wear it on the beach btw :P
Total spent on F.O.S. was RM85, hey, for 3 t-shirts, 1 pair of slippers and 1 short pants it's really worth it, don't you think? ;)

This is what I've gotten from Jusco, HAHA. I know, you might be thinking why did I buy this pair of pants.. it's because I have no other short pants that can be worn in the house and out the house :(. Believe it or not, it costs me RM 39. BRRURHH, It was written 20% discount, so I was thinking, "oh about RM30, not that bad".. when ze boyfriend and I lined up for aheckofalongtime, the cashier told us that if we didn't get a receipt from the previous department we won't get discount. fmlwtfnoway

These are what I've looted from Cotton On, lmao.

I got myself a short denim pants because uh ever since I've gained weight, I couldn't wear almost ANYTHING left in my wardrobe ,_, sad isn't it? I only have this one knee-length jeans and 1 more short cargo pants from Forever 21, that's it, no more :( Anyway back to this denim shorts, it feels quite comfortable and not too short either, just nice to cover all my fats HAHAHAH. It costs RM99, not too expensive but not cheap either, a hole in the pocket. Sigh, but I'm happy! HAHA :D

This dress is just marvelous <3 me loves this very very MUCHIE. :). It costs RM99. Uh, yes same price with the shorts......... somehow I feel this is more worth it hahahahaha. Anyway, this is casual enough to look nice and simple enough to wear it casually. Teehee, I'm not making much sense here, hmm...

A playsuit! Hee, I used to wear them a lot but ever since I've shifted back to KL from JB, I donated all my jumpsuits and playsuits to the charity, cause I thought I wouldn't be wearing them again... and now to reminisce the past <3. This playsuit looks niceeeeeeeeeeeee. It fits me well, though I looked fatter than I already am but it's alright, as long as I love it. It cost only RM79! :)

Ah, the total I've spent on Cotton on is RM277. And... I shouldn't have spent so much, now I have not much left to shop for MORE clothes. PIFTTT!

It was a nice day with my baby Swen but I am not really happy at the same time because the Roxy dress that I've been having my eyes on is still not mine. I should've just bought it.. it's around RM180.. sigh.. now I'm contemplating whether should I buy it or not. What do you guys think? :(

I wish and wish and wish I have more money in the future to go for massive shopping LOL! See you guys soon ^^

Manhattan Fish Market @ Mid Valley, July 17th 2011

I was at Mid Valley today doing a little shopping for Penang. Teehee. About the shopping details.. ah just wait for tomoz ;) You'll get the update.
So, I went for dinner at Manhattan Fish Market because they are having some promotion.

Do NOT be deceived by the BIG 50% discount picture in front of the menu... Heh, it's only for starters, salads and desserts if you order anything from "Strictly for Sharing"

We ordered this Manhattan Flaming Seafood Platter for RM 52.90, for the promotion part, we got 2 free soup of the day and 2 free soft drinks (bottomless).

These are the 50% ones :P

The environment of the restaurant :)

Manhattan Fish Market!

Beautiful lights~

Soup of the day.
Urgh, it tastes horrible, tooooo much carrot taste and did I mention that I hate carrots? T.T pifts

Flaming the prawns! AHAHA, their unique selling point I see!

There's Fried Calamari, Fried Dory Fillet, Fried Oysters, Manhattan Flaming Prawns, Chips, Garlic Herbed Rice, Broccoli and EWWWW Carrots

To kick it off, the Fried Calamari was just okay. There's too much pepper seasoning in it that spoiled the taste and it didn't taste toooo fresh.
I'd give 2/5 to it

Then Fried Dory Fillet, to be honest, I really just love this, it tasted better than the Fish 'n' Chips in Secret Recipe! Reallllly. It's fresh, chewie and at the same time crispy!
4/5 for beloved fillet.

Fried Oysters, aha, those were also deep fried and lmao it kinda tasted like prawns when I firstly chewed. It's definitely fresh but.. nothing special, really.
3/5 for the fried oysters

Manhattan Flaming Prawns, the most disappointing of all. A direct translation from a famous Chinese saying "Can see cannot eat". It meant like, it looks good but it tasted like crap, I can only taste gas from the flame, and lots and lots of mayonese, yuck.
1.5/5 for prawns.

Garlic Herbed Rice, eww. Is that enough to describe it? I totally prefer Kenny Roger's Aromatic Rice, or just plain white rice seriously. No garlic taste at all!
1/5 for rice.

The service was good, the waitresses were friendly but uh, they hardly notice us, that's.. quite a bad thing because we had to wait for quite some time to get to their attention. No waiters served us so far so yeah ahhaha. Overall, I don't think I'd get back there again even if someone pays for me because I think all the frying to the seafood had toooootalllllyyyy destroyed the taste.

The total bill was RM 61.35 after tax and service charges.

Stay tuned for next post about my shopping outcome :P.
