10 Kinds of Typical Malaysian Friends

It's a rainy Sunday afternoon..
I'm getting bored..
Okay.. still bored.. So I've scrolled through my friend list in WhatsApp, in the end, got too lazy to message anybody and had decided to do this..

***ANY SIMILARITY IN REAL LIFE SITUATIONS IS STRICTLY COINCIDENTAL. IF YOU CAN'T TAKE A JOKE, PLEASE DON'T SCROLL DOWN FURTHER***

There are normally 10 kinds of typical Malaysian friends that you can find. Being the stereotypical me, I put them in these 10 groups and decide what topic to talk to them, or what topic to brush them off.

1.) The FFK-ers - They will ditch you in every event that you invite them to or they will ditch you even if they invite you.
What subject to talk to them : Everytime you see them/message them, do not forget to say, "Hoi ****er, ffk me again, how many times already?"
How to repel these friends : Simple, call them to every event, cause they won't turn up anyway
How to attract these friends : Even simpler, don't call them to every event, they will turn up
Percentage of this group in friend list : 15%

2.) The "Oh-I-Know-Everything" - This group will probably be the second most annoying one ever because whatever that you say, they will know and they have a solution to it.
What subject to talk to them : Anything and prepared to be annoyed.
How to repel these friends : Copy their attitude, act like you know everything and argue with them with facts plucked from unknown places because believe me, even if you say "Eh, my grandma this year is 83 le", your OIKE friend will say "I know, 83 ma, right?"
How to attract these friends : Pretend to be stupid and let them talk all they want, pretend to admire them as well.
Percentage of this group in friend list : 10%

3.) The super religious type - Ha, this is the most annoying one ever because ever action that you do, they will relate it to religion, somehow, even how you breath becomes a problem to them.
What subject to talk to them : Religion lo.
How to repel these friends : Tell them you're a free thinker and starts disagreeing to all their religious beliefs, whether you believe or not, if you don't want them around, just disagree
How to attract these friends : You don't have to attract them, they come involuntarily and will try their very best to convert you.
Percentage of this group in friend list : 5%

4.) The bro and babe type - Haaa, this one all will come and talk nonsense to you and that's all, although they think they are very close to you, but once you have a problem, that's it, good bye. This happens to be the biggest group in your friend list as well.
What subject to talk to them : Anything that's not serious.
How to repel these friends : No repelling, this one needs to find a cure. Author has no idea.
How to attract these friends : Same as number 3, they come involuntarily.
Percentage of this group in friend list : 25%

5.) The "Politicians" - Waseh, this group is very scary because wherever/whenever you see them, it's allll about politics, similar to the religious type on number 3, this is all about politics. Facebook/Twitter/Instagram, bedroom, toilet - anywhere la, for sure has political stuff.
What subject to talk to them : Politics lo.
How to repel these friends : Disagree to every political view that they have, if they support opposition, you tell them you support government, if they support government, you tell them you support opposition, confirm will piss them off.
How to attract these friends : Haa, this one you have to add from Facebook. Their wall security setting normally is public when it comes to politics, when you see one profile like that, go la add.
Percentage of this group in friend list : 5%

6.) The "Party Animals" - Heh, this group of friends will like clubbing, drinking and partying, oh ya chicks and dudes as well.
What subject to talk to them : Alcohol la! Sibeh on la once you start.
How to repel these friends : Pretend you don't like all these kind of stuff.
How to attract these friends : Just post on Facebook your drunk face, your favourite alcohol, your sexy clubbing dress.. or just pretend you're very stressed, they will come to you with alcohol as the solution.
Percentage of this group in friend list : 5%

7.) Bojio Kaki - Waaaa, this one also very annoying, most of the time you will find them on Facebook.
What subject to talk to them : Don't need to talk to them la, just post where you've been on Facebook.
How to repel these friends : Delete from Facebook la! Or block lo.
How to attract these friends : Post your whereabouts on Facebook everyday and don't reply cause they never get tired of this anyway.
Percentage of this group in friend list : 10%

8.) "Eh-never-belanja" or "Eh-you-come-fetch-me-la" type - This group of friend will put a big hole in your wallet.
What subject to talk to them : Anything la, as long as you belanja or fetch them.
How to repel these friends : Don't even fetch them out la.
How to attract these friends : Easy lo, belanja every single thing until you fed up.
Percentage of this group in friend list : 10%

9.) The "I-think-I'm-Japanese-because-I-watch-a-lot-of-anime" type- This group of friend very harmless, cause they will do their thing and won't bother about you, just that when you talk to them sometimes, expect some Japanese words to be used la, although they can't understand Japanese very well anyway.
What subject to talk to them : Anime lo.
How to repel these friends : Tell them you don't watch anime lo. Caution : DO NOT ACT LIKE YOU DON'T KNOW WHAT'S ANIME. Why? Try yourself and you tell me la.
How to attract these friends : Tell them you like anime lo.
Percentage of this group in friend list : 5%

10.) The "Oh-I-know-everyone" type - Waaa, this group of friend is verrrrry entertaining, especially if you found out that they don't know the person and act like they do.
What subject to talk to them : Humans.
How to repel these friends : Danger, there's no repelling.
How to attract these friends : They will appear randomly like Pokemon.
Percentage of this group in friend list : 10%

Okay and this is the end of my list.. I'm sure there's more laa.. but as of now I can only think of 10 cause I want to go out already :p Share with me la the type of Malaysian friends you have. If any of the readers is offended, I won't be responsible for it, I've already mentioned, this post is for fun.

Budget for Japan, Day 1

Hello everybody,

It has been months after months..... or year (?) that I've last written something on this blog.

The reason for the revive is that... I simply want to share that I've been to Japan finally!!!

So, one of my life's target had been achieved! Yay!

I am now here eagerly wanting to share with you the very first day that I've reached Japan. Just before I do so.. I would also want to let you know how much I've spent approximately.

Ah, it took me exactly 2 months to plan for this because I don't understand Japanese, I don't speak and I can't read them (well maybe a few words here and there, but to form a proper sentence..? Eh, nope!) The trip in Japan was 10 days btw in case if you were asking..

Three main things to kick it off -
1.) Transportation to and fro Japan (Nagoya) - Airasia RM351 per person round trip (inclusive of baggage, fuel surcharge, airport tax and choosing the seats)
Why Nagoya you may ask.. well let's just say it's cheaper to fly to Nagoya and then take a bus down to Tokyo. :)

2.) Transportation to and fro Nagoya - Willer Express Bus, approximately RM220 per person round trip.

3.) Accommodation - E-Hotel Higashi Shinjuku, approximately RM2800 for 9 nights. (It's a budget hotel and this is after 40% discount! Jeez, it is REALLY expensive)

Well okay, just the above it has already costed :
(RM351 x 2) + (RM220 x 2) + RM2800 = RM3942 (THIS IS EVEN BEFORE YOU ARRIVE JAPAN. GAAAAAAAAAAAAAH.)

Ooookay, let's get down to business, pictures below with captions of place, price and what I did. :) Oh right, I'll be speaking in yen, so my conversion rate was 100 yen to RM3.26 ringgit. You can multiple the yen amount that I've spent with 0.0326 to get the Malaysian Ringgit amount.

Well, this is 4.30am Malaysian time and 5.30am Japanese time... We were approaching Nagoya.. It was really cold, 5 degrees celcius, my very first time!

We touched down around 7.50am and after getting out of the airport, we headed to the train station (Which is in the airport). Look at the map................. Can you understand anything at all!?!

Couldn't help but take the picture of the vending machines in Japan, though it's just soft drinks, it looks uber awesome. Just so you know, every corner of the streets in Nagoya/Tokyo are filled with vending machines.

We took a train down to Nagoya station in which our bus station is just nearby. It costs us per person 840 yen! Oh golly, really expensive.

We reached Nagoya town around 10am (we were walking around aimlessly cause we have NO idea where were or what we were doing). Well, we were dead hungry as well, so we went into any shop that is opened. This is Yoshinoya, it's available throughout the whole of Japan and it's realllly cheap for Japanese standard. Look at the beef nabe and my face :p
This meal had costed us approximately 1500 yen.

This is the road along Yoshinoya where the bus station would be, notice the small board beside the lamp post? That's the only indication that the bus would be at and it's in Japanese! If it does not have the Willer Express logo, we are doomed for LIFE. Haha.

This is the queue behind of me, look at the people, they queue without ANYONE telling them to, how awesome is that? You can't find that in Malaysia!

Just taking our first selfie....... hehe.... We then board the bus 12.00pm SHARP. Not even a minute of delay.

Okay, so we've boarded the bus and this place is the R&R of Japan! AMAZING ISN'T IT?
Wait till you see below...

Look at the amount of recycle bins they have, oh right, one dear note to you - I've not seen a rubbish bin in public in Japan, only these recycle bins and they are really hard to find. Once you've found them, you HAVE to properly separate your rubbish into the correct container, otherwise, if passer-bys caught you throwing stuff that does not belong in the category, hah, you'll be approached.

These are where all the buses stop........ really nice scenery.

Of course, this vain pot wants picture.

Ze boyfriend was being playful.

And finally, we've reached Tokyo at approximately 8pm due to HORRIBLE jam. We were supposed to arrive at 6.45pm.

Odakyu mall!

MOOOORE vending machine.

Reached the hotel and walked out, we are walking into Kabukicho in Shinjuku - also known as the red light district. It was awfully quiet though. It's Saturday!

Bars, karaokes, look at the amount of people, awfully quiet!

Slowly...... human heads count started to increase as we walk nearer to Kabukicho...

We were so hungry, so.. Takoyaki!!! This is so FANTASTIC not to mention EXPENSIVE. These 8 balls costed my dear salary 900 yen! (That's about RM30.00 for you!)

This bowl of katsu udon costed us 750yen but it's reallllly delicious, the soup is boiled using pork bone - I think with some other unknown stuff but AWESOME.

Walked past some streets and saw these on the road.. almost every shop has these displays - doesn't matter if it's an expensive or cheap shop.

THIS.IS.SHINJUKU. LOOK AT THE AMOUNT OF PEOPLE :O

Then again.. selfie for the night.

Didn't manage to do much as it's only the first day. And we did not take too many pictures because it was too overwhelming on the first day. So... wait for the 2nd day! :p

And the above picture is for you... till the next post! Hopefully tomorrow... if I DON'T procrastinate, bahaha!
