Recently, I've watched this show :

Percy Jackson and The Lightning Thief

Synopsis : Zeus accused Poseidon that his forbidden son has stolen his lost lightning bolt. However, Poseidon has not seen his son ever since birth. Zeus strongly warned Poseidon that he would only give 14 days for him to retrieve the lightning bolt. Percy Jackson, Poseidon's son, does not know that his father is one of the Big Three of the ancient Greek Gods till one day, his class teacher, who's actually a Fury decided to make a move and attacked him. Anxious of his safety, his another teacher, Mr. Brunner who is Chiron the centaur, and his best friend Grover with a clutch, who's really just a satyr, decided to move Percy into the camp. During the journey to the camp for the demigods, his mother was abducted by the Minotaur which was directed by Hades. In order to save his mother back, he has to prove his innocence to Zeus that he had not stolen the lightning bolt and to Hades that he has mistaken the wrong person. His new bestie, Annabeth, the daughter of Athena alongside with Grover were set on an adventure to save Percy's mother and stop a chaos from happening in USA. However, things are not as simple as it seems.. is it really just Hades who had mistaken or..? The casts of the show :

Review of the movie :

If you have read the book by any chance, you will notice that the story has been changed a little here and there to adapt to the movie length. It was not a bad movie and I would say the modification didn't really disappoint me but some of the details like having Cerberus in Hell would really be funny. The mother, Sally, wasn't as per described in the book, with the blue waffles and all that, but she's a good mother. To a point where Percy had brought the mother to Empire States Building, entering the Olympus, Sally knows how to activate the lift to the holy land. That surprised me quite a lot. It's more like, wow, how do you know? :S One of the disappointing thing is Annabeth did not show much affection to Luke in the show. She was supposed to be showing her affection to Luke since Thalia and Luke were her best friends since young. In the movie, Thalia and the tree were not mentioned at all. Quite a few loopholes I would say but the settings and the cabins were MAGNIFICENT. I would love to see Clarisse in the show just to piss me off but I was also quite gray to learn that she wasn't in the movie. Perhaps in the next sequel to the movie she would appear..? Well, she has to! She's one of the main cast in Sea of Monsters. 

Personally, the movie could have been better if it was stretched a little longer, there isn't really a "climax" because even the fight with Luke was.. I don't know, not interesting enough. It seem as though Luke was losing to him on purpose.. somewhat. I'm looking forward to the next movie! :) Not really related to the movie.. but Annabeth looks a little like Selena Gomez LOL. But she's hotter :)

Ooops, Berjaya Bagged All The Awards?

On Saturday 23rd of July 2011, Monin Cup's Finals was held at Berjaya University of Hospitality's very own Samplings on the Fourteen. Yeap, 14th floor. It was supppppposed to start at 10am.. apparently, the Emcee was late.. (Eh seriously, BUCH, don't pay him! Grr)

Well, those are the prizes up for grabs, 3 for Mocktail, 3 for Cocktail. Some cash prizes too but I don't know how much is it :P.. teehee.. didn't bother to ask else I'd get jealou- I mean, I'll..... forget it, let's move on.

I was there as the AUDIENCE. Duh.. do you think I can mix drinks?! Uhh.. teehee, do you like miloshake? ;)

This girl, her name is Tenka.. Tengka.. Lengka.. OKAY WHATEVER LOL. She's Korean and she's awesome in flaring! :) But during her performance for her cocktail, she slipped, twice. Ouch.

See? She has a few more styles but it's a little dull at some point because she kept repeating her steps and stuff like that.. but still, she's the one who did it the best :)

As the name suggests, it's called First Love. I don't know how it tastes like. It looks a lotttt like fruit juice to me. As usual, I don't remember the person who made this because uh no offence.. I can only remember remarkable ones that made an actual impact.
